Fats are the main source of energy used by our body, essential fatty acids are those that our body can not obtain on their own, so they must be obtained from our daily diet.

Essential fatty acids have many properties which help control cholesterol levels balanced and keeping them at a reduced level. Natural origin also makes them more healthy for our body, unlike the essential unsaturated fatty acids that are more damaging.

Like everything not abuse or over-consume this type of fatty acids, so you have to watch the daily minimum recommended intake of these and not exceed it.

Essential fatty acids can be found in many foods, such as oily fish or seafood or oil like olive oil, wheat, corn, soybean or sunflower; always in moderation and raw.
